How would you describe the perfect afternoon with you're significant other? An afternoon drive in the mountains with scenic views? A state fair with rides, hot dogs, and sharing cotton candy? A boat ride to watch sunset out on a lake? All of those are arguably intimate, but hey...this is New York. Usually, couples have their portraits taken during the wedding day, or before, for an engagement session. That can be a little tough if you have a long knot-tying day. When Danielle & Ray contacted me, I had a different idea though since I had already shot their wedding day fun. They live in Pennsylvania; yet, they were in love with the New York scene! Who isn't!? So of course, I offered the best park we have to offer. We took a gorgeous afternoon stroll through Central Park. Leaves were just starting to turn and the golden hour sun left the perfect touch to set the mood just right. After making a few stops....which I really mean like 92,817 stops (because everything is so friggin' gorgeous at the right time in Central Park), we even caught the Loeb Boathouse before it closed! And that my friends, was their perfect afternoon. At least, that's what they told me on the way home.
